Course Information:
Marathon Oasis de Montréal, also known as the Montreal International Marathon

The Marathon starts on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge at 9:00 am on Sunday September 14, 2008. To get to the starting line, we suggest you take the metro and stop at Parc Jean-Drapeau station on the yellow line. Just outside the station, you will only have to follow indications. Please calculate a 15 minutes walk from the Jean-Drapeau metro station to your starting line on the bridge! What will participants receive? All entrants in the Marathon will receive a medal, the official tech-shirt of the marathon, a light lunch at the finish line as well as a personalised certificate printable from our website a few weeks after the event. An electronic chip is supplied in your run packet to record your time precisely. Make sure you return the chip at the end of the run. You must return your chip when you finish. Participants who do not return the chip will be assessed a $40 fee. If you accidentally leave with your chip, or pick up your packet and not attend the event, please return the chip in a packaged envelope to:

Olympic Stadium arrivalThe Olympic Stadium will be the finish site for all participants. All runners, cyclists and walkers are invited to the rest and refreshment area where a light lunch will be offered, free of charge, by the Oasis Montreal Marathon.

Are walkers welcome? Not for the marathon as the time limit is of 5h45 to complete the distance. However, you are more than welcome to register at the Half-marathon as the time limit is 7h30 to complete the 21k.
