Course Information:
16th annual event. The Island Park Area Chamber of Commerce founded the Sawtelle Stampede in July, 1997 to provide a fun, healthy and family-oriented event on the July 4th weekend. Our event is for everyone. Individual walkers, joggers and the elite runner. We encourage and offer discounts for teams of families, friends, clubs and organizations.

The course winds through the beautiful Caribou-Targhee National Forest, all on scenic forest service trails with Sawtelle Mountain as our backdrop.
