Our race committee is busy preparing for the 32nd annual Friendly Massey Marathon and the 19th annual Spanish River Half-Marathon & Chutes 10k to be held July 20, 2008 in the small, friendly community of Massey. This marathon is an accredited race through Ontario Roadrunners Association and is a qualifier for
the Boston Marathon.
ChampionChip Timing provided by Sportstats. ChampionChip distribution will be at the Start/Finish line.
MARATHON OPEN TO FIRST "500" ENTRIES. ENTER EARLY! Saturday
11:00 am - 9:00 pm: Registration at Massey and District Arena
11:00 am - 2:30 pm: Fun Run registrations
11:30 am: Cycle Tour of route.
12:00 noon: Beer Garden
3:00 pm: 2K Fun Run
3:30 pm: 5K Fun Run
4:00 pm: Fun Run, Awards and Prizes
5:00 - 8:00 pm: PRIMO Spaghetti Feast - Cost $5.00

Sunday
5:00 - 5:30 am: Pick up race packages at Massey & District Arena. NO REGISTRATIONS.
6:00 am: MARATHONS START
8:00 am: Pancake breakfast
8:30 am: 10K Awards Ceremonies
10:30 am: 1/2 Marathon Awards Ceremonies
12:30 pm: Full Marathon Awards Ceremonies

*Awards include Medals, Merchandise Prizes, Wooden Stools and Certificates
