    9th Street and Main Avenue North, Choteau, MT

    Packet Pickup:
    2:00pm to 7:30pm on July 31 in the "Old Trail Museum Schoolhouse" (9th Street and Main Avenue North)
    Late packet pickup will be available race morning at the starting area.

  • Additional Information:

    The marathon course begins on pavement at the north end of Choteau, at the Old Trail Museum complex. Going south on Main Avenue, the course turns west on Division, then south on 7th Avenue, which turns into Highway 287. Turning west at Bellview Road, the course is gravel for several miles until it turns to dirt trail, and eventually back to gravel. The course makes a small loop at the near half-way point, and then heads back to Choteau on the same route. Once entering Choteau, the course stays on 7th Avenue and continues north to the finish line, near the Old Trail Museum complex.
