Course Information:
The Road Ends Course is five tough but beautiful miles along the Crooked Lake path! As hilly as any section of the half or full marathon, this is a kick butt trail course that is sure to please The half marathon is one 13 mile loop and full marathon is 2 loops. Wide hilly single track trail that will kick your butt! We love it and hope you will also!
Half and Full, starting on Silver Lake Beach you will head south until you reach the Losee Lake Trail Head. About ¼ mile up this trail you will stay right and cross the park entrance Rd. Bear left on the road 100 yards and you will come to a small circular parking area on your right, follow the Potawatomi trail out of the south end of this circle area. You will continue to follow “Potto” in a clockwise direction until the “Short cut” at Glenbrook. You will cross Glenbrook Rd. (About mile 9) go right on Glenbrook 50 yards and enter trail on your left, 50 yards down this trail you will hook up with “Potto” again and head right, across the bridge and on to the finish following “Potto”. When you get to about mile 12.5 Potto turns right, away from the lake. This is so the mountain bike traffic does not get to the beach. You will continue straight south on this trail to the beach and finish line.
