Race Information:

The first 8 miles present 99% of the challenge of this race. Two separate hills will push runners hard but not extraordinarily so. The final 15 miles of the race are run alongside historic Oil Creek, with a full canopy of trees to protect runners from the elements.

The Half marathon features one slight and steep incline of about 200 meters and then is mostly and out and back on the same bicycle path the full marathoners will enter late in their own race.
Both races begin just .2 of a mile from the World Famous Drake Well Museum. The Marathon does a loop of the Drake Well Museum’s parking lot before heading out to encricle Titusville itself, go through the town and then traverse the beautiful Oil Creek State Park Bicycle Trail before finishing on the Titusville High School Track at the Ed Myers Sports Complex. The Half Marathon starts just north of the Marathon and follows the same Oil Creek State Park Bicycle Trail before also finishing on the THS Track at the Ed Myers Sports Complex.


NOTE: REGISTRATION WILL BE COMPLETED VIA ACTIVE.COM. ENTRY FEES TBD. There will be no mail-in registration for the Drake Well Marathon races.
