Race Information:

We're adding a downtown loop, so where the one-mile mark was last year will be where the 5 mile mark is this year. We'll cross the historic Sixth Street Bridge for a beautiful view of downtown Grand Rapids along the river. We'll run past the convention center, the Amway Grand Plaza, and within only a couple hundred yards of the final resting place of Gerald R. Ford. After our brief downtown tour, we'll rejoin the old course for a West Michigan color tour.

Here's some good stuff. The Half-Marathon will turn off Butterworth onto a great new paved trail and head back in. The Marathon will continue to the older part of Millennium Park and take advantage of a new perimiter-loop path.
