Course Description:

The race starts and finishes near the park headquarters in Wilderness State Park. The course is a loop that includes the Red Pine, Hemlock and Wiikeohs Trails.

Race Information:

We are excited to introduce this beautiful trail marathon in Northern Lower Michigan! It is the first Great Lakes Endurance event in the Lower Peninsula. The course follows a remarkable section of the North Country Trail that travels from Cross Village to Mackinaw City. Features include grassy bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan, coastal forests, inland wilderness lakes. The half marathon starts in Wilderness State Park.
