Course Description:

The half marathon starts in Wilderness State Park and follows the last half of the marathon course past Canada Goose Pond, Cecil Bay, Trails End Bay, the north shore of French Farm Lake and then along along a old rail grade into Mackinaw City. Runners can park near the finish and take a bus to the start.

Race Information:

We are excited to introduce this beautiful trail marathon in Northern Lower Michigan! It is the first Great Lakes Endurance event in the Lower Peninsula. The course follows a remarkable section of the North Country Trail that travels from Cross Village to Mackinaw City. Features include grassy bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan, coastal forests, inland wilderness lakes. The half marathon starts in Wilderness State Park.
